Hi AtMike,

Your story about Budwieser reminds me of a joke I was told some years ago by an American friend:

What is the similarity between a Budwieser and making love in a canoe?
It is fu**ing close to water

Regards,

Parsifal

Dear all.

Nice with some jokes build in to our post.

I'm surely a defender of a smile from time to time,.

Have to reming all of you, both writers and readers, that we prefer clean language - also in jokes.
This one will stand as it is - well understood, well said and in respect for "boys talks", Budweiser never came close to copy that original beer, so Gentlemen; this one stand.

@Parsifal....
Love it (but don't tell too many that I did)

I agree with the American version of Bud. Nasty stuff!
But what ever this other was was either spoiled or for some silly reason they grew it that way! If it's from the same family recipe the I can understand it!

You can make something bad even worse!

@AirMike

Now - being in to the language part, I remember some funny stuff from my time in Moscow.

You probably know all the sayings about Murphy's Law, so we leave that part out.
What we found was a kind of relief in these words (translated from Russian):

"Why do it better today, when worse was okay yesterday?"

You're forgiven..... not forgotten....

That's all okay.

A "Bad Joke" is not always defined by its language, but mainly by its definition by the reciever.

Give you a good example:

How do you get holy water?
Boil the hell out of it......

You see, here we are hitting some battle grounds for those who are Christians, non-believers and those environmentalist who thinks water should not be spoiled at all.
